Painting is a way for me to communicate feelings that I cannot express through the language of words alone. It is through visual imagery that I can reveal my passions. Each of my paintings bring different moods, colors and emotions. Nature’s diversity enthralls everyone. I try to capture the inner beauty of mother nature and its surrounding, florals, landscapes and natural beauty through my watercolor paintings.
Joyeeta Neogi has been working as an Illustrator for over ten years, mostly for Children’s books, using both traditional and digital mediums in a colorful, playful style. She has also worked as a Designer after graduating in Fashion Design from NIIFT, India before following her true passion as an Artist. She creates captivating expressive characters within simple compositions to bring the author’s story to life. She grew up in a family filled with art and inspiration. Currently, she resides in Bangalore, India with her techie husband and lovely, creative daughter. Her day seems incomplete without capturing a piece of her surrounding on a sheet with watercolor.Her paintings have been exhibited in various national and international platforms.
