Maria Angelova was born in Sofia, 1969. Since her childhood she follows many preparatory courses and private lessons in drawing, watercolour and composition.
After the graduation in Textile Design, she creates many drawings for clothes that have been sent in different textile industries in many countries of the world. In her studies she obtains also an academic degree in Dental Technology.
From 2004 Maria lives in Italy with her family. During these years she has continued to take part to many masterclasses in watercolor, oil tecnique and bothanic watercolor too. She has organised solo exhibitions and partecipated in many collectives in cities like Rome, Florence, Padua and Piazzola sul Brenta.
She widely takes inspiration from the entire nature and her interests range from figurative escapes and animals to human portraits.
Nowadays she teaches in the Accademia dell'Acquerello di Padova and she gives watercolor basic courses for adults and children too.
