He was born in Costa Rica ( Central America ) in 1960. From an early age he showed artistic talent, his father, who is also an artist, was the one who motivated him and taught him the first steps in painting techniques. As a young man he was awarded a scholarship at the “Casa Del Artista Olga Spinash”, later with an honor scholarship he studied Plastic Arts and Advertising Design at the College of Plastic Arts of the Autonomous University of Central America, Artistic Education at the Continental University of Sciences and Arts.

For me (he says) : “Art is a means of expression that portrays the historical, social moment; the national and international problem of the human being's disharmony with nature, which accompanies us in this planetary sphere ... the earth. As a son of the rural area of Costa Rica, Central America, in my childhood and adolescence I had an intimate relationship with nature, forests, rivers. Their habitants; the infinity of a fauna that gives harmonious sounds to the great extensions of land. That aroma of oak, guapinol, forest flame and yellow bark, coffee and sugarcane in the harvest season, floods the atmosphere. For my imagination it was the breeding ground for inspiration. I learned that I am part of the ecosystem, not the owner, I see my life in an art-nature relationship. Time rides and its mark leaves marked "achievements" in technology. A changing society, where the great inventions of communication are predominant. With positive and adverse effects. The pictorial sample "Ciberdependiente" is born from this feeling.
