Abdur Rahman obtained his second Masters in Multimedia Arts (Gold Medal) from National College of Arts Lahore, Pakistan and a Bachelor and Masters in Fine Arts (Gold Medal), from University of Peshawar, Pakistan. His professional background includes academic positions in educational institutions at NCA, PIFD, COD, IFA, where he taught Animation, Drawing, Jewelry Design and supervised thesis students. He has over twenty one years of experience in Art, Design, Animation and Teaching. His research areas include Animation (Traditional Folk Tales) Painting (Culture) and Design (Brand Identity). Within these research areas he has directed and animated sixteen short films, documentaries and designed more than fifty brands identities and dozens of full promotional graphic campaigns. Abdur Rahman has won thirty one awards in graphics, painting, calligraphy, sculpture and animation competitions and exhibited his art works in various groups and solo shows. Currently he is an Associate Professor of Animation, Pak Austria Fachhochschule, Haripur, Pakistan.
