ENG: From Ciudad Obregon, Sonora. For many years Enrique Amaya has been dedicated to develop in different disciplines, all of them strongly related to the fine arts.
He has more than 40 collective shows and 28 individual ones, and has exhibited in different states of Mexico, as well as the United States and Italy, where he received the honorific mention at the Premio Firenze, as well as in the Citrina delgli Artisti Contemporánei in Florence. He has found his strongest media of expression in watercolor, but he stills works with the rest of traditional and experimental media in painting. He has also painted two murals, La Seguridad Social at the Pensiones Civiles del Estado in Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua, as well as La Educación Montessori, at Centro Educativo Montessori in Chihuahua.
He is a funding member and president of Chihuahua's Watercolor Society, was an advisor at Chihuahua's Ministry of Culture and a collaborator at Chihuahua's Sacred Art Museum.
