"Painting is something wonderful for me". It is an experience on many different levels. I like to paint what is on my mind at the moment, or simply what I enjoy. Often I bring in memories that I have collected on my travels. For me, the motif is usually just the stimulus for my own imagination and serves as orientation. I love lightness, spontaneity and chance. My aim is to paint contemporary and modern art. It is always exciting to realise a connection between the composition, spatial depth and contrasts with the colour sensation and above all my feeling in the paintings. I have many ideas and like to experiment with new materials. But the most important thing in my painting is the colour and the colour feeling. "Pink" is one of my favourite colours, is my "trademark" and is represented in almost all my paintings.
