Hello

I am a visual artist based in Queensland, Australia.

I enjoy watercolour as an ideal medium to capture the 'spirit' of the subject whether en plein air or in the studio. I also work with fountain pen, acrylic inks and acrylic pigment on paper or canvas. My aim is to interpret and depict the character and spirit of the subject whether landscape, cityscape or figurative. 

I have travelled widely in Australia, Asia, Europe and and other countries to paint remote, rural or urban landscape/cityscape, people and life. I'm pleased to have received variuos awards for my artwork, particularly in watercolour, and to be a finalist for Australia in several FabrianoInAquarello exhibitions. I am a member of a number of art societies in Australia and the worldwide Urban Sketchers group and I am an experienced tutor.
