Daniela Grignani, born in Pavia, approaches watercolor, driven by her craving for a new way of expressing true and free feelings.

After an experience at the Civic School of Art of Pavia, she joins the school of Angelo Gorlini, who becomes her mentor.

In 2014 she joins the "Associazione Pittori Pavesi" (LAPI.PA - founded in 1965), of which she becomes Vice President, concentrating her efforts on promoting the sense and passion of art with particular respect to the watercolor technique. She organizes meetings and exhibitions in the most significant locations in the Province of Pavia

In 2017 becomes member of “Associazione Italiana Acquerellisti” (A.I.A.), and member of the “Assovizzini”, a cultural Association in Lombardia.

She participates in national and international exhibitions; has been selected several times to be part of the group of artists representing Italy at the "Fabriano International Convention in Watercolor", and was among the eighteen Italian artists chosen to be present at the International Watercolor Exhibition and Symposium in Krakow (Poland- 2018). In 2019 he was part of the Italian representation at the exhibition organized in Wales by the "The Royal Watercolor Society of Wales" and in 2020 at the International Watercolor Exhibition Fremantle in Australia. Among the various events in which he participated: the "International Watercolor Festival - Castra 2021" organized by IWS Slovenia and the "Indonesia International Watercolor Exhibition (2021)". She was among the four Italians, chosen by an international jury, to represent Italy at the "Watercolor with love" exhibition, organized by IWS Russia in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Moscow (2021). She represented Italy at the European Watercolor Symposium which was held in Bilbao (Spain) in 2022.

 Some of her watercolors were also published in the well-known French magazine "L’ Art de l ’Aquerelle".
