I am an artist, illustrator, visual journalist and graphic designer from northern Finland, Oulu.

For me nature is important. In my paintings I search many times for some deeper, symbolic, psychological meaning for landscape or creatures. In Finland nature is close, even if we live in the city.

In my watercolour "Her hopes and dreams" I painted my mother in the fifties. We see a little bit shy girl sitting in the small village's farmhouse with her thoughts of the future. Life brought her both, light and dark shades.
