I have lived in Mississippi my entire life and has influenced my art. But as I travel, whether in the United States or abroad, I capture experiences and feelings of place. Once in my studio, I express these experiences in a spontaneous and fluid manner, often beginning with just a basic idea. As I incorporate design elements, images, shapes, and layering techniques, the work itself guides me. 
I am a signature member of the Southern Watercolor Society for the second time in my career.
My paintings have been included in numerous national and international exhibitions, including the Southern Watercolor Society, Mississippi Watercolor Society Grand National ,  Virginia Watercolor Society,  Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Society, FabrianoInAcquarella2020-2023 exhibitions, National Watercolor society member exhibitions, American Watercolor Society Member exhibition, San Diego Society International, Ukraine Freedom exhibiton and the International Watercolor Greece exhibitions.
