Geremia Cerri was born in Soresina in 1983.

The creation process has always been part of his and his family’s life.

His parents worked as artisans and his home has always been pervaded by working tools, as well as by art books, vinyls and musical instruments, thanks to which Geremia was able to immediately appreciate the many facets of the artistic expression.

He has been painting since 2014.

His passion for the landscape, the outdoors and trekking led him, after a journey through the scents and colors of Sardinia, to reopen his box of watercolours. Since then, he has started to study again to perfect his technique and he has been inspired by the environment that surrounds him.

He paints in watercolour, acrylic and oil.

His works are part of private and public collections, and Geremia is constantly invited to international watercolor events representing Italy for this wonderful and difficult technique.

Parallel to his painting activity, Geremia teaches and holds watercolor painting seminars throughout Italy.

Since 2020, he has been an honorary member of the International Watercolor Academy. In May 2021, the commander in charge of the Amerigo Vespucci, the training ship of the Italian Navy, commissioned him to leave one of his works on board the vessel. Always in 2021, after a year of collaboration with Borciani e Bonazzi (historic Cremonese brush factory), the set of brushes with his signature was produced and distributed.
