Marja Koskiniemi is a Finnish artist living in Stockholm, Sweden since 1989. After studies in fine arts and design, she chose watercolour as her main medium. Her other materials are glass and ink, and she works with experimental, three-dimensional art as well. Her paintings have been shown in art galleries and museums worldwide (in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland). Marja Koskiniemi´s watercolours have won international prizes, e.g. 1st prize in the category Abstract Watercolor in the international Art-Bridge-Watercolor-2013 competition in Russia and 1st prize in the international J. Martinez Lozano watercolour competition in Spain 2008.
