I was born in Livorno but I live and work in Milan.

The innate curiosity and the many stimuli that Milan offers have lead me to cultivate different interests outside the working environment. The passion for watercolour started more then twenty years ago.

In December 2003 I was admitted to the Associazione Italiana Acquerellisti (AIA) and since 2007 I have been member of the Board of the association and in charge as Vice-President for many years.

Since 2012 I am the Coordinator of the European Confederation of Watercolour Societies (ECWS) which  gathers fourteen European watercolour associations.

Over the years I have participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad. I have been invited several times, as a juror, to the Fabriano Watercolour International Prize organized by the Museo della Carta (editions 2014, 2016 and 2018).
