Raffaele Ciccaleni is a watercolour painter, teacher and writer.
His articles and watercolours have been published in Italian and international art magazines, such as International Artist and Leisure Painter.
He has won many art awards, especially at en plein air and ex-tempore contests, where watercolours are best suited for their immediacy and freshness of execution.
His works have been exhibited in many countries, and he currently teaches watercolour workshops.
Since 2015 his watercolours have been exhibited at FabrianoInAcquarello, during which he also ran workshops focused on en plein air and landscape sketching.
His 2017 Fabriano demo is featured on YouTube.
He is the founder of many Facebook art groups followed by artists and amateurs worldwide, such as ACQUERELLO LAB MONTE URANO, WORKING-MODE PALETTES, EATING BRUSHES, COLOR TRIADS, WATERCOLOURINK, PAPER FOR WATERCOLOUR, and so on.
