Monika Strobl took up watercolor painting in 2004 and tried to expand  her knowledge in classes with several established Austrian and German watercolorists. One of her favorite subjects  are the special people she met while traveling . Monika also likes  maritime subjects and   enjoys  plein air painting with  IWS Austria.  In recent years Parkinson´s disease has slowed down her painting  process, but her enthusiasm remained unbroken.

Monika´s works  were shown in numerous group exhibitions with  the Austrian Association of Physician Artists, at the 2nd Watercolor Bienniale  in Kosovo, and in the catalalogue of Fabriano in Aquarello 2020 .
