Artist James Nyika paints the glowing atmosphere of cities across the world. Anything can be a subject and he is particularly interested in Watercolor as his primary medium. He enjoys experimenting and is very much focused developing his craft using challenging subjects and out of the way, day to day experiences. His work is primarily focused on bringing out the story of a subject relative to its surroundings, sometimes exaggerating the interesting elements of a piece. James is completely self taught and has sold numerous pieces to the silent yet savvy watercolor collector!
