I have always wanted to paint when i was young, but didn’t have a chance while working for a living. I chose watercolor because it seems simple and easy but in reality the challenge is different each time i Put brush to paper. Painting has made me much more sensitive about everything around me: shapes, colors, light, relationships of objects, even how people smile or sit, etc. It saved my sanity during the repeated pandemic lockdowns, not just as expression of my emotions, but also as an escape to places that were temporarily inaccessible. Any creative endeavor is exhilarating, but rarely does one single activity keep giving to its creator. It sustains and elevates me, and that is beautiful.
