Joanna Zając-Slapničar graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, Poland. Diploma work by prof. C. Kowalski (2004). In 2003 scholarship at the Academy of Fine Art in Ljubljana, Department of Design. 2016 has graduated postgraduate studies (Video) at the Academy of Fine Art in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Working in differend fields: paintings, graphics, computer garphics, illustrations, video and new media art. Takes part in international art projects, symposia and art workshops.
2008 – price for the best Aquarell, XLIII internationale painting ex-tempore PIRAN, Slovenia
2016 Honorable Mention Award at First International Watercolour Exhibition in Budapest, Hungary
2017 Price for the best Collage at II Polish Art Competition Collage-Assemblage, Olkusz, Poland
2018 being among Top 20 at 5th International Watercolor Biennial of A GALLERY, Belgrad, Serbia
