Painting is my childhood passion and have inherited from my father who was an engineer by profession. I had started painting from the very childhood and watercolour at the age of six. I am Chemistry honours graduate from Calcutta University and when I was pursuing M.Sc, I got married and paid attaintion to my family. After fulfilling my duties, I had decided to take up my childhood passion seriously. I started to learn painting under my mentor, Mr.Tarak Shankar Das in  the year 2014. I have participated in more than 15 exhibitions in India and abroad. Among these, one of the most prestigious was my solo exhibition at Academy Of Fine Arts in Kolkata in 2018. Many art critics have appreciated my work.

                                             I have done painting in different medium like oil, acrylic, mixed media and water colour. But I like water colour the most because of it's versatility and flow of colour in the water. When I work with this medium it brings utmost happiness to me. So, I would say, watercolour painting is my profound passion.                                 

                                              Every year, Fabriano arranges water colour exhibition and gives a platform to water colour artists all over the world. So, I have keen interest to be part of it. I will be thankfull if I get a chance to participate in Fabriano, the most prestigious event of water colour.
