I’ve lived, studied and worked in Italy for 25 years, where I mainly focused on restoration and conservation of artworks, as well as making commissioned art. Since moving back to Finland and studying art therapy, I’ve started expressing myself more through my own art.

Over the last 10 years I’ve specialised in the watercolour painting technique. I’m fascinated by water-based colours and the way they are used in the watercolour technique to create layers and other effects. Athmosphere and feeling is also something that I am hoping to show in my artworks. My artwork is inspired by nature as well as human nature. I am fascinated by light and atmosphere and by a presence of a pair of eyes in a face, animal or human. it is the most interesting element in the painting for me.
