Nickname:
Country: Canada - Role: Artist

My interest in art began with a Jon Gnagy Learn to Draw kit - a gift received as a young child. While raising my family and working as a pharmacist, I was grateful for any opportunity to steal some time for art classes, painting sessions and workshops.  I was soon drawn to the beautiful and unpredictable effects of watercolour, and its portability opened up a whole new world of possibilities for plein air excursions.  Nothing is better than getting outside - time slows down and yet there is a sense of urgency about it.  You never know when the light will change, or you have to pack up due to a downpour, a bear, or an officer on a bicycle! The adventure becomes forever entwined with each painting.
