About me
Jean Haines Watercolours
I am a passionate watercolour artist and author who teaches Internationally. I have written eight books which are published in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and German. I'm strongly influenced by nature and my surroundings in my art and I have a belief that creating with colour can be a life changing experience. I'm also convinced that the power of colour can have a profound effect on our well being which is why I wrote the titles "Paint Yourself Positive" and " Paint Yourself Calm". I exhibit in galleries, hold workshops internationally and run my own online art school. My style is impressionistic and has been described as ethereal but my work is always connected to a combination of loose free brushwork with the addition of fine detail. My goal in life is to help others see the beauty in watercolour because to me no other medium holds it magic. As artists we have the ability to make the world a better place, one brush stroke at a time.
im honoured and delighted to be here on this platform and look forward to connecting to my fellow artists.
