About me
I am a visual artist based in Mexico city. I have a Doctor degree by FAD-UNAM, my artistic disciplines are graphic art (etching, woodcut, drypoint, etc.) and painting (oil and watercolor). In painting, I like the efects of watercolor on paper because you can get a lot of soft transitions with the use of water, specially when you are working with landscapes or portraits. Another thing that I like of watercolor is the softness of color playing with water, this make watercolor a world of posibilities in the artistic creation.
Profesionally, I have won Ecuentro Nacional de Arte Joven in Aguascalientes México (2017), two Honorable mention in the same contest (2016,2016) and work selection in contests on Greece, Ecuador, France, Armenia, Macedonia, Italy, etc.
