Milica Williams is a Geoscientist with extensive experience in mineral exploration, mining, and the academic environment.
Her passion for art first developed during the early stages of her exploration career in the form of photography, capturing timeless memories of landscapes and geological features she observed during her field works in remote regions of Africa and former Yugoslavia. Her love for nature and microscopic rock textures became her main inspiration for painting with oil, acrylic and mixed media. Milica recently became a passionate watercolour artist, developing a range of styles from realism to more abstract approaches. She tries to capture texture and detail, focusing on the relationship between nature and personal storytelling.
Although she has no formal education in Art, Milica has been studying painting and drawing since 1995, either by taking private lessons or through various Art Schools, such as: Polytechnic College in Pretoria (1995-1996); Kingston University, London (2014); Art Academy, London (2016); Richmond Adult College, London (2024); Rod Moore Online courses (2022); Acrylic University Canada (2023) and multiple online courses at Artefacto School (2023-current).
