I was born in Lisbon, I live in Caldas da Rainha, I have academic training in Art History, with a doctorate, and very early I dedicated myself to drawing. Then, I fell in love with the watercolor, fascinated by the possibilities of expressing my emotions and experiences through the magical dialogue between water and pigments.
My work addresses various themes that reflect stages of an incessant search: the approach to nature, a special predilection for trees, from naturalism to the harmonic chaos of the abstract. I like to paint through free spots, in soft tones, looking for the transparencies, the delicate effects and a harmonious subtlety.
I have participated in individual and collective exhibitions. Painting watercolor is vital to me, almost like the air I breathe.
