About me
My name is Drago HajdaroviÄ.
I was born in 1958 in Kropa, a small village in the Northwest of Slovenia. I attended primary school in Lipnica near Kropa. By profession, I'm an artistic blacksmith.
I have always enjoyed drawing, but after retiring, I began painting using watercolor techniques.
I am a member of the Atelje Bled Painting Society and the Art Section of the Radovljica Pensioners' Association. I also participate in the Advanced Watercolor Course at the Radovljica Public University.
I have held three solo exhibitions (2018, 2023, 2024) and participated in various group exhibitions with individual watercolors.
For my artwork in watercolor technique, I have received:
• Commendation from the professional jury for the watercolor Silence at the 6th Ex Tempore Painting Event in Bled, October 2021.
• Special Award from the jury at the 2nd Brank
