About me
Hello!
My name is Galina Pachshenko.
I am from Kazakhstan. I am living in Almaty.
Currently, I am pursuing a second degree and am a student at the Academy of Arts, specializing in “Easel painting”.
I graduated from the Polytechnic University and worked as a researcher at the Research Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, PhD. I am currently lecturing at the International IT University.
Since 2022, I started taking classes in drawing, watercolor and painting at art schools and with private tutors. In 2025, I passed the exams and entered the Academy of Arts to study easel painting. I draw a lot from nature and draw in life drawing classes several times a week. I give a lot of my artwork to my friends.
I like to create artworks using various materials like watercolor, oil, pencil, ink and others. I am attracted to the impressionistic style because, in my opinion, it allows me to show dynamics and depicts objects in the way a person perceives them when looking at something.
I am fascinated by the process of drawing people.
In 2025, my art works were in nine exhibitions, including:
The International Watercolor Festival "Fabriano in Aquarello" - 2025
The International Watercolor Festival "Colors of Armenia" - 2025
International Watercolor Painting Exhibition at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest "Make the Watercolor Great Again"– 2nd Edition -2025.
