About me
After my training as a draftswoman and civil engineer, I now work as a CAD specialist in the construction sector.
Free flowing watercolors are a wonderful contrast to my technical drawings. This dialectic of construction and flowing color is often the basic theme of my watercolors.
I like subjects that allow ambiguities and I love plein-air painting.
For my 30th birthday I got my first watercolor painting box as a gift. This gift aroused my enthusiasm for watercolor painting. Since then I paint almost every day. I visit exhibitions whenever and wherever possible and I educate myself autodidactically. Today, watercolor painting is my second, professional mainstay.
Since 2000 I participate in exhibitions and projects, since 2013 I give drawing and watercolor lessons.
