About me
I am an artist, educator, and eternal art enthusiast, deeply committed to creating and sharing art that inspires and connects. For me, art is more than a profession—it is a way of life, a universal language that conveys emotions and fosters meaningful connections.
With an M.F.A. in Painting from B.H.U. and B.F.A. from Chandigarh my journey has been enriched by participating in lots of exhibitions, workshops, and art festivals. Highlights include showcasing my work at the G-20 India Group Exhibition and receiving accolades like awards, and also recognition from my state’s Chief Minister.
My color palette reflects my passion for vivid storytelling and emotional depth. I have explored and done different kind of artforms and medias like oil, acrylic, sculpturing but right now i am doing and loving the fluidity of watercolors, where pigment and water blend to create living, spontaneous beauty. My portraits are not just likenesses, but windows into the souls of my subjects, revealing their stories, emotions, and experiences. My illustrations-one being book on female foeticide and abortion, written by former D.G.P. Haryana Police-and lectures on the intersection of art, and social issues underline my belief in art as a catalyst for change. I continue to promote artistic excellence.
My teaching career includes guiding budding students and nurturing creativity as a lecturer in educational institution. My artwork, housed in private collections across India and beyond, reflects my commitment to using art to transcend boundaries and foster connections.
At the heart of my practice is a love for creation and a belief in art’s power to transform and inspire. Through my journey, I aspire to ignite creativity in others, encourage exploration, and share the profound beauty art brings to life.
