Susan Mary Halfhide

Susan Halfhide is of Anglo-Indian descent, & was born in 1987 in Muzaffarpur. After spending a considerable time in Kolkata, she currently lives and works in Bangalore.
Her artistic practice is deeply rooted in exploring themes of nature and its preservation. Recently entering the professional art scene, Susan has exhibited in group shows such as The Chromatic Cofluence (April ’24) and the India Art Festival (June ’24). Her work has also been shortlisted for the upcoming 2nd Olympiart (Dec ’24), organised by IWS India, as well as the India Art Festival (Dec ’24).

She is also an avid animal lover & has painted more than a 100 custom watercolour pet portraits over the last five years
