About me

English:Hello, I am Karina Polacek from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been researching through watercolor painting, the #colorsnurture theme, for 20 years and have always used Fabriano Artistico textured/rough paper.
My art talks a lot about Thresholds.
I start off with the color I am needing at the time, and add veils mostly on dry paper.
My first teachers were disciples of Surrealist Argentinian Master Battle Planas. I enjoy not knowing where I am heading to, when painting.
I studied at "Tobias School of Art and Therapy", in the UK, where I learnt the veil paitning technique.
