My name is Edison José García Lozano, I was born in the Caluma canton, Bolívar province, on September 7, 1989.
Since I was a child I had that passion for drawing by making my first scribbles in which I enjoyed doing it and therefore excelled at it.
At the age of 20 I started as an apprentice in a workshop in my town to develop myself in wood carving, filling myself with basic knowledge that marked my professional field, which prompted me to learn more about this technique, such as modeling in clay, sculpting the wood or other materials thus beginning my curiosity to learn more about this wonderful artistic world.
When I was 25 years old, my goal was to study plastic arts to force the previous knowledge that was imparted to me, which I applied to the Higher Technological Institute of Plastic Arts "DANIEL REYES" located in the parish of San Antonio de Ibarra since it is known for its excellence in wood carving thus awakening my curiosity to learn from the best teachers in the parish, finding what I was looking for.
In the course of time I had a penchant for the watercolor technique, thus participating in various workshops and international national exhibitions.
