About me
Born in Skopje, but grows up in his hometown Kriva Palanka. Stefan's journey in the art world starts early in high school with photography and after that he goes on to completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Printmaking from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje - Faculty of Fine Arts - Skopje in 2016 in the class of prof.dr. Slavica Janeshlieva.
Curently working on his Masters Degree in Print Making at the same university. Curently living and working in Skopje - Macedonia . Throughout Stefan's young but plantifull artistic career, his work has been a testament to the fusion of traditional methods with contemporary sensibilities. This unique approach has allowed Stefan to carve out a distinctive niche in the art world, exploring themes of identity, culture, and societal narratives through diferent mediums.
Stefan Jakimovski has held four solo exhibitions, each a curated exploration into the artist's evolving style and thematic concerns. These solo shows have been hosted in prominent galleries and art spaces, drawing attention for their technical prowess and thought-provoking narratives. In addition to solo exhibitions, Stefan Jakimovski has been an active participant in over 30 group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.These collaborative showcases have not only provided a platform for Stefan Jakimovski's work but have also facilitated a dynamic exchange of ideas with fellow artists and art enthusiasts.The body of work created by Stefan Jakimovski reflects a commitment to pushing the boundaries of printmaking, colages,watercolor and other mediums.
