About me
Painting for me, is to delve deep and immerse myself into a world of experimentation and investigation. Following my instincts, I explore the process of painting between suffering and enthusiasm. In recent years I have focused completely on watercolours. The more time I dedicate to this medium the more I am fascinated. I am passionate about seeing pigments run and play with generous brushstrokes while concentrating on the details. In search of the perfect relation between pigments and water the journey is the reward.
I am German but since 14 years I am living in Barcelona, Spain. It is the city where I found my love and I am raising my children. It is the city that gives me lots of input... not searching for it, just going to the streets and let the life inspiring me.
I am happy to have discovered the Fabriano Watercolor World. This year is the first time that I uploud an image. And I am looking forward to the upcoming events and masterclasses in Italy.
