With watercolor art form, I get the opportunity to enjoy and rejoice in capturing what I find beautiful and appealing, mainly in nature. I find a pleasurable challenge in rendering and interpreting light and shadow, reflections, textures and details that catch the eye. The watercolor technique is also a constant challenge that one can develop with, but never completely master. The paper, pigments and water interact with each other in different ways that are so exciting and fun to explore. I mainly get my inspiration from the surrounding nature where I live, near the sea, the forest and the fields.
