Ignacio Molina Zafra Watercolor Master, Painter
Originally from Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, since my adolescence, I developed a curiosity for the arts, especially music and painting. That's how I began the self-taught learning of these disciplines.
A few years ago, I discovered the work of Agnes Cecile, a watercolor artist dedicated to the human figure. Her style inspired me to explore more about watercolor artists, encouraging me to create my own representations. Over six years, I sought the meaning of my life, and eventually, painting became my refuge.
In 2021, I achieved my first official sale. Encouraged by musician friends, I decided to take the leap into professionalism. "That which you can never stop doing brings us closer to finding ourselves," existential words that motivated me to fully dedicate myself to art.
In February 2022, I joined the SMA (Mexican Watercolor Society) and had my first solo exhibitions.
Currently, I am expanding my techniques and skills, aiming to express with greater certainty the stories, ideas, and emotions I wish to convey. My focus is primarily on faces, their gestures, gazes, and their meanings
