At Flierman

In 1987 I was introduced to watercolor. I have continued to do this technique to this day.

I actually started painting still lives and that means you have looking carefully to get a good texture. Later i painted a lot on the wadden shallows and therefore I started more loosely. The papersize became larger and working wet in wet gave nice results. The combination of watercolor with pastel also produces surprising effects.

I have also attended many workshops abroad over the years.

I have had two exhibitions in England and many in the Netherlands. Participated in november artmonth Ameland in 2023.

Watercolor technique is never boring.
