About me
Hello, my name is Olga Gansen. I was born i Karelia/Russia, since 2002 living in Moss, Norway.
I am self-taught visual artist, been painting watercolor and learn about the art world since 2016. Creating mostly figurative and semiabstract art. Love still life, landscape, portrait.
Watercolor is my favourite medium. It is a flowing and alive, medium that allows to create perfectly imperfect artwork. I love to paint in the traditional layer’s watercolor technique, also mixed contemporary techniques from the loose to detailed.
I am a dreamer and thinker, and my visual language is also, kind of atmospheric and dreamy romantical. The vision is inspired by the impressionism and surrealism.
My artwork is about a silent introspective dialog with nature, capturing unique moments of life by own impression and fantasy.
I am a member of Nordic watercolor society and Moss Artist community/Norway/
