Country: Mexico
About me
A couple of charcoals, paper, a large wooden table, the particular smell of paint and an
endless number of materials that peeked out from among the furniture in that room that
welcomed us with great love as a group of students in human figures, who were attentive we
slide our gaze over the curves of a female body.
That is where the whole adventure began. That day marked my life and the possibility of
creation detonated.
That first experience at the age of 16 fed my insatiable appetite for creating,
leading me to experiment with a variety of materials, inks, acrylics, oils, papers and multiple
surfaces that allowed me to study the color and shapes that I needed to know my true artist.
The word authenticity marked the rhythm of my practices, devoting more and more time to
painting, I found the refuge I needed, color became a new language with which I could
communicate in a more concrete way. Determined to continue on the path of art, I found in
Watercolor a quick and generous way to speak my new language: Color, making each work
a unique experience, due to its essence, the message that it shares and illuminates in each
place.
Each work carries a purpose, an intention that is released in the company of the viewer.
As it is in this collection: Extraordinary Mexico, it brings joy, music, dance, calm and also the
life of a country as vibrant as my Mexico is.
This is a tribute to the place that taught me to capture life and color through my hands, to my
culture that is part of you in this calendar.
