Hello lovely people!
This is Vasundhara. I'm a professional watercolor artist. I am born and brought up in a scenic place called Satara which is situated in the western ghats of Maharashtra state, India. Since my childhood I'm very fond of being in nature blissed places. I grew up seing all the scenic beauty around which is the main reason behind my love for art. Art & Nature has the strong bond which makes artists like me to fall in love with creating pieces. Since my childhood I love painting, drawing and everything that has creativity. I graduated in Applied Arts from Pune city, which is called as Oxford of India.
After getting married I shifted in the southern part of India, Bangalore. I worked as a Graphic Designer in TimeOut Bengaluru Magazine. I have got chance to design some hand drawn illustrations but somehow it did not ease my creative yearnings to work on the things which were narrrated by someone else.
My paintings & prints have found homes overseas in countries like Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia and of course our India. I also conduct workshops in watercolor for kids and adults whenever its possible after the commission work. Despite being a full time occupied housewife & mom, I get out of the world peaceful feeling whenever I'm with my paints & brushes! A true Godlike happiness an artist can find!
