Marty Gómez Silva is a Peruvian aquerologist, Brand Ambassador of DANIEL SMITH for Peru and Social Media Manager of the brand for Latin America.
His work is mainly inspired by nature and the floral universe. Through transparencies, spontaneous spots and delicate changes in value, he builds atmospheric compositions in which some forms are barely suggested and others appear in greater detail. Light and color are essential elements in his painting, creating sensitive and expressive images that move between the figurative and the intuitive.
In his workshops, Marty shares this way of understanding watercolor: not only as a technique, but as a process of observation, freedom and personal connection. Her work has led her to participate in international meetings and festivals, sharing her experience with artists and students from different parts of the world.
