About me
Ruby Davis is an Artist , illustrator who trained in her early career as a graphic Designer. She has executed many illustrations for the publishing industry in various mediums including pen and ink ,markers and watercolours over the last 20 years. Ruby has always had a love for Botany and Botanical art but has only recently returned to it after a long absence as an art form for herself.
She enjoys painting in watercolours and oils and is inspired by th challenges that Botanical art presents , the attention to detail and accuracy that it requires but is also hoping to push the Boundries in future works . She enjoys painting the human form and experimenting with the different mediums .
Her watercolour work was selected for the 'Worldwide Botanical Art' exhibition 'South Africa ' in 2019
