About me
Esterina Rosso introduces herself:
Born in Talmassons (Udine – Italy) on 28/08/1956, after compulsory school she enters the
world of work in the public/private sector as an administrative employee. She approaches
painting only at the time of retirement, in 2015, attending the school called "University of
Liberetà of Fvg in Udine". She chose various courses: drawing, graphite, ink, acrylic and most recently watercolor with the teacher Germana Snaidero. She was fascinated by the watercolor technique for
the expression and versatility that each work can give, managing to express herself with
great passion and participating in various events proposed by the teacher.
The first participation was in the year 2020/21 in the competition "In arte per la vita –
Acquerello del doge” with the creation of 40 postcards to be donated to charity, designed
on the trail of 40 poems by various authors as a solidarity at the moment lived for the
Covid pandemic, receiving recognition.
The second participation was in 2023 at the “Festival Urbino in Acquerello” in honor of
Duke Federico da Montefeltro and dedicated to the theme "A cultural gift to humanity",
presenting a work entitled "The baggage of the soul" in a hexagonal format with all the
sides of 30 cm.
