About me
Kalpita Saha is a self taught artist besides working as a L&D professional. She's currently based out of Bangalore, India. She feels that she can connect with her inner self as well as the outer world through her paintings. According to her, art in any form can enhance and deepen our perspective or understanding of the world around us, it improves our observation and defines our true being. More than anything else, art has always come to her rescue from the mundane and materialistic world!
Kalpita has been passionately practicing paintings and sketches since a very young age. Although she is well experienced with different mediums like watercolor, acrylic, graphite, soft pastels, etc. and has won several accolades and honors since her school days, she still feels there's no end to learning and hence loves participating in various workshops and exhibitions. She has a Diploma in Fine Arts and has done a Certificate Course in Graphic Design to explore digital media as well. She is also a member of West Bengal Watercolor Society and Kalaarambh, where budding artists get a rare platform of interacting and learning from the masters.
Kalpita's work has been admired and selected for excellence in the field of art in various national and international galleries. She has also been a recipient of the Bharatiya Kala Ratna Art Excellence Award 2022 from Ajanta Ellora International Art Gallery, Aurangabad, Maharashtra and Best Award in Popularity from Indian Art Carnival 2022.
