About me
A watercolor artist who is self taught. She likes to say that Watercolor chose her. When most artists explore various medium, it was different in her case. There was a watercolor box which reached out to her during one rainy afternoon in the middle of the pandemic. It came to her rescue in the world of chaos. She has painted more traditional artworks of India, the move to watercolor was very unusual. The biggest appeal is that watercolor is so subtle. She being an avid mediator, this subtle nature of watercolor was the first draw towards the medium. Its surprises and its magic is like romance. The medium is difficult no doubt but a difficulty posed a challenge worth pursuing. Would Mastering the medium look like pursuing an ever changing goal post. We need to watch and see.
