My name is Adriano Lecce, I was born in Udine in Friuli Venezia Giulia, always interested in visual and communicative aspects.
My artistic career began at the State Art Institute "Giovanni Sello" in Udine, where I fell in love with advertising graphics, photography and the languages of the figurative arts. I continued my studies at the University of Architecture in Venice, graduating in 1983. In the following years I collaborated with several architectural studios, private clients and national and foreign companies, dealing with visual-graphic communication and design.
Throughout my professional career, I have been able to devote myself to teaching, the most beautiful and most fulfilling experience for creative people. It is a serious, challenging and rewarding task to be able to pass on knowledge and experience to students to help them develop their own qualities and develop their own personalities.
I have always cultivated my passion for painting and in particular watercolor, but I had not been able to deepen it with the right attention. Today I can dedicate myself to watercolor, a magical technique, whose clear transparencies evoke plays of light and emotions, exclusive properties that allow us to interpret the world and our sensations, with light and color.
The beauty of the regional territory in which I live, offers exciting views that you can not resist. When you paint "en plein air", you feel inside you, the harmony of the places, the true "genius loci" that inspires and guides you.
Harbingers for me were, the great painters masters of art history and many contemporary authors including: A. Gorlini, M. Iocco, P. Campos, S. Miller, H. Montero, G. Ibañez, M. Folly, J. Zbukvic, A. Castagnet, C.Farré.
Thanks to my mentor: Germana Snaidero, who introduced me and accompanied me in the discovery of watercolor.
