About me
I am Dr. Bikash Aich, Ph.D in Medical science, residing in Pune, India.
Painting has been of interest for me all my life. Nothing captivates me more than the art of bringing a plain canvas to life. Apart from that i like to devote my spare time studying wonderful art around me.
Mediums that I enjoy the most are watercolours and oil paints, and I love creating vanishing landscapes, historical episodes and still life with them. Watercolour in particular helps me to bring out the essence of Plein-air paintings and gives me immense joy.
Although being an entrepreneur it takes a lot of efforts to size out time for such creative works; I managed to put up exhibitions with SIMA (society of Maritime Artists) group in Pune, apart from my other personal exhibitions.
