Shinji Sato

I paint watercolors while working as an in-house designer.
I like the translucent beauty of watercolor that can be created by chance due to the overlapping and bleeding of colors. Even after becoming a member of society, on my days off, I spend my time with a brush in one hand while looking at places that can be used as pictures. Last year, I was able to hold a solo exhibition in Tokyo on the theme of my favorite Italian scenery. In addition, there were many things that made me happy, such as being able to receive the "Governor of Tokyo Award" at the Modern Japanese Art Association Exhibition.I visited on a sketching trip to Italy in the spring of 2023. I am planning a solo exhibition of my memories from this trip next spring.
