About me
As an artist I am an explorer, I stepped into the world of art under the guidance of professor Shri Manik Lal Bandopadhyay and specialized in silk painting with watercolor. Since then I have successfully tried my hands in watercolor, acrylic, and pen art. I have won many acclaims and awards like Rabindra Saman in 2018, 101 miniature awards in 2018, and 2019. Also, I am awarded by InWatercolor 2020, 6th international watercolor festival at Kota Rajasthan. I have attended many workshops worth mentioning in Delhi Kala Mela, In-watercolor 2020 6th international watercolor festival, Tajpur Inwatercolor International Residential Watercolor Workshop (2019), Santiniketan SSVAD (residential,2018), Shantiniketan Prakriti Bhawan (residential,2019), Charukala Mela (2017,2018,2019), art donation camp at Tollygunge old age home (2017), Chitrangane Chitra Shilpi at Dumdum (annual art camp 2019) and many more from all over India. I participated in Charukala Prashikshan Sibir (residential) organized by Rajya Charukala Parshad in association with District Information and Cultural Office, Paschim Medinipur. My first solo exhibition was held in Taj Bengal in 2016 and my second solo exhibition was recently held in Uttarpara Netaji Bhawan, Azad Hind Gallery November 2022. Other than that I have also exhibited my paintings in AIFACS (New Delhi), Indira Gandhi National Centre of Arts (IGNCA, New Delhi), Kota University (Kota, Rajasthan), Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, IWS BXH Gallery (Kosovo, Pristina), Academy of Fine Arts, ICCR, Chemould Art gallery, Birla Academy of art and culture, Noty Binodini Memorial Art Gallery, Altamira Art Gallery, Anandi Art Gallery (Howrah). I did Charukala Parichay Shikshakram (Art Appreciation Course) organized by Rajya Charukala Parshad in 2018.
