14:57:04I have drawn and painted all my life alongside raising a family and pursuing a career but only since my early retirement in 2018 can I say I have given it enough attention. Now I am addicted! I follow watercolour classes in my home town of Nyon, but have also attended lots of courses at, for example, the St Ives Painting School in Cornwall. I now spend several hours a week on my painting. 

 

Last year I discovered the joy of having a sketchbook and watercolours constantly in my bag when travelling, and a lot of my painting is now based on what I see around me. I’ve been particularly inspired by Tuscany and Barcelona recently. Of course the Lac Léman and the Alps - that I am lucky enough to see from my window - are a constantly changing source of material.
